7 Days to Die PS4 and 7 Days to Die XBox One were in their final form forever.Įarlier this year TFP scheduled a consultation with Unity Developers to get personalized help for using Unity optimally with their game. TFP made the tough decision to not find a new partner to continue updating the existing game. In the aftermath, TFP was able to secure the rights to their intellectual property ensuring that they would be able to port future versions of the game to future consoles. Telltale Games then went bankrupt which caused Iron Galaxy to cease work on the port.
The port was completed and the game shipped to consoles and was subsequently updated over time with bug fixes as well as new content from Alpha 15 and a bit from Alpha 16.

Telltale Games hired the studio, Iron Galaxy, to code the port and TFP assigned members of their own team to be liaisons with Iron Galaxy for giving support as needed from their end.

This port would be based upon the Alpha 14 PC version. The Fun Pimps formed a partnership with publisher, Telltale Games, to bring a port of 7 Days to Die to Playstation 4 and XBox One. The list above are the different pickaxes that you can make. The higher the ax the better the resource, so if you use a steel pickaxe you are going to get more resources back than if you used a stone or iron pickaxe. To destroy blocks you can use any of these axes: Most common are the blocks at the military bases throughout the world. You can get the clay out of destroying certain blocks. Traders can sometimes have clay available to purchase using tokens. You can only scrap potted plants if they are not damaged so try not to damage them while fighting zombies.You can find them in almost all other buildings at least one.Hotels and apartments have potted plants as well.Multiple locations have potted plants but the daycare has the most clay pots.This cannot be said for the PlayStation format. You go to this location to get potted plants then scrap them to get clay soil. While digging for clay in Alpha 17 I would recommend not digging to close to your base as the zombies can dig as well and thus attack your base. It comes up as clay soil and it is found everywhere in the world. In Alpha 17 to find clay just dig anywhere. Mining under grass, snow, and other zones can give you a chance at clay.After that, you might have to find another spot or go deeper.Clay patches are usually only 4-6 blocks deep and about 6 blocks wide.Look around big rocks because sometimes there is clay under or around them.Those plants in a cluster indicate a clay patch. Steel gives you the best resourcing amounts.Iron shovels give you better resource amounts.Stone shovel gives you the basic resource.Craft a shovel, at beginning stages a stone shovel would work.This is the most common option on the PlayStation platform as well as steam if you do not have alpha 17 and up.
This only pertains to Alpha 16 or lower as in Alpha 17 there are no clay pits to dig. Here is an image of what clay can look like on the map.
